Chastain Arts Center is now offering monthly adult painting parties.

This is a great social event for adults to enjoy a night of painting, drinks, fun, and food in the company of friends at Chastain!
The parties are open to adults 21 and over who are interested in painting whether they be the novice, the social painter, or the professional! This is perfect for a ladies’ night out, date night, or to feed your curiosity and craving for painting.

Klee - “Senecio”

Join us for Chastain’s monthly adult evening of entertainment, painting, and fun. This month’s painting technique is inspired by Paul Klee.  Klee, a student of Orientalism, mastered the color theory providing dynamic works that speak to the viewer on a multi-dimensional layer.  Snacks and all drinks are welcome, we will supply the rest. $35pp. Call ahead for reservation. Jacob Lawrence - “Play”

DATE: April 27, 7:00-9:00 PM 

Join us for Chastain’s monthly adult evening of entertainment, painting, and fun! This month’s painting technique is inspired by Jacob Lawrence’s painting, “Play.” Lawrence was a notable figure in the Harlem Renaissance movement. He developed a special style called dynamic cubism, which derived influences from artists like Picasso. Snacks and drinks are welcome, and we will supply the rest. $35 per person. Paul Cezanne - “Still Life, Jar, and Fruit”

DATE: May 25, 7:00-9:00 PM 

Join us for Chastain’s monthly adult evening of entertainment, painting, and fun. This month’s painting technique is inspired by Paul Cezanne. Cezanne is a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter whose subject matter ranged from still life pieces of fruits and household objects to landscapes of the French countryside. His vibrantly colored paintings are enhanced by repetitive, soft brushstrokes and a careful eye for detail.
