Registration Information
REGISTRATION INFORMATION / POLICY
REGISTRATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN THE OFFICE.
You can register for a class: in person, by mail, by fax (404-851-1270), or by phone (404-252-2927).
You may pay for classes with a business or cashier’s check, money order, or Visa or MasterCard charge. We cannot accept personal checks or cash. If you are mailing or faxing a registration form, please be sure to include the account number, expiration date, and be sure to sign the registration form.
Please note that registration forms received prior to the first day of registration will not be proceed until registration begins.
We do not send out confirmations. If you are not certain about a class, please call the center prior
to the first day of class to verify the day and time of the class, and your enrollment.
NON-RESIDENT FEE:
A $10 fee per session will be charged to non-residents (age 65+ exempt; Summer Camp students exempt). City of Atlanta residents will be asked to present their driver's license as proof of residency at time of registration.
PLEASE NOTE:
All classes require sufficient enrollment to convene. Chastain Arts Center reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or combine classes, to change instructors, fees and/or classroom assignments when necessary.
Any cancellation of, or change to a scheduled class will be made two days prior to the first class meeting. Students will be notified by the e-mail or phone number provided at the time of registration. Full refunds will be issued for cancelled classes. If a refund is granted and the original form of payment was by check, the refund may take 4-6 weeks to be issued.
REFUND POLICY:
To withdraw from a class: Students must notify the registration office in writing by mail, fax, e-mail, or in person.
Students must notify the registration office at least 3 business days before the first class meeting in order to receive a refund. A withdrawal fee may be charged.
NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS WILL BE MADE AFTER THAT TIME.
The Center is not responsible for classes missed due to student absence. Please discuss any unavoidable absence with your instructor. In some program areas, students not enrolled in a class may register for open studio time, with an instructor's permission. The open studio schedule for each area will be posted at the beginning of the session. Open studio registration is for the same duration as the session. Students working in open studios must sign in.
