CURRENT COMMISSIONS

White Street Mural Project The City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA), Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. and Councilperson Cleta Winslow (District 4) have collaborated with a muralist to create a site specific mural on White Street under the Laughton Street bridge in Atlanta, Georgia.

Neighborhood Gateway Projects Intended to recognize four unique Atlanta parks and the communities they serve. These commissions are for free standing sculpture that serve as a point of entry into each park. The Atlanta City Parks involved are Adair Park I, Isable Gates Webster Park, Southside Park and South Bend Park. The Project is currently in the early planning and development phase.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Natatorium Site specific mural on the back of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Natatorium located at 70 Boulevard, NE in Atlanta, Georgia. The mural will respond to the surrounding historic district (the wall faces Martin Luther King, Jr. Visitor’s Center and is across the street from Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site, Visitor Center and Tulip Garden). The project is currently in the planning and review phase.

Rosa Burney Park The Rosa Burney Park Project will be developed in conjunction with the construction of a new environmental design for the park. The selected artist team will work with a design team to develop the enclosed structure around an existing pool site. The project is currently in the second phase of the artist selection process.
