A Call to Artists: OCA Public Artist Registry Application Now Open

Application_FLYER.pdf

The City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs Public Art Program is seeking professional artist applicants for its Public Art Registry. The Public Art Program uses this Registry as a preferred vendor list for soliciting major and minor public art commissions and purchases. Artists accepted to the Registry list will be considered for public art opportunities such as site-specific commissions, artist/architect collaborations, design services, and artist/community collaborations. All professional artists residing in the United States with public art experience, interest in site-specific commissions, or who have involved community members in their work are encouraged to apply.

Submissions will be reviewed by a jury of art professionals. The jury will review the application material and select appropriate artists for the registry. Artists will be notified by email if they are accepted to the Public Art Registry.

All applications must be submitted via Email/Dropbox by midnight on January 31, 2016.

Please contact Hannah Leathers with any questions regarding the application process: HLeathers@Atlantaga.gov; 404-546-6849.
