About the Artist

Jeff Hall achieves his artistic expression with classical figure sculpture by creating a striking embodiment of the human figure. A strong pose represents humanity at its best. The figure is more than just a body in motion it is also a mind at work. Jeff strives to look deeper at capturing that expression between mind and body in an attempt to transcend the medium by turning ceramic, stone or bronze into flesh. This was successfully accomplished with his marble portrait of Vice President Danforth Quayle for the Capitol building in Washington DC. and his life size Paleontologist tribute to Rick Baker, for the Galesville heritage society in Maryland.

Hall’s successful career of over 25 years, adds great depth and insight to his work. He has received numerous museum sculpture awards. His ceramic and bronze sculpture has been shown internationally and his hundreds of architectural sculptures adorn government buildings, churches and estates in and around the Washington D.C. area, as well as the east coast, including The Marin Corp administration building, the Department of Agriculture Building, the Washington National Cathedral, and the US Capitol building, Washington DC.
