West End Public Art Bike Tour – Atlanta Streets Alive: April
Join the City of Atlanta – Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) – Public Art Services (PAS) team on Sunday, April 17th for a free 4 mile bike tour of public art on the new Atlanta Streets Alive: April route.
The tour will start in Gordon White Park near the west side of the route and bike towards Grant Park. The tour will consist of approximately 15 public art works from the city’s collection, Living Walls, and Art on the Atlanta Beltline. This event is BYOB (bring your own bike) and BYOPG (bring your own protective gear). The tour will start at 3:00 pm in Gordon White Park on the west side of the route and end in Grant Park. OCA staff will also be on foot near Steven Weitzman’s concrete mural, West End Historical Walk, to explain our audio boxes and the work.
Atlanta Streets Alive: April Bike Parade participants can join the tour in Gordon White Park after the bike parade ends in Westview cemetery!
